Just like all the other partners within the genius board, Craig came into Stevie's life for a reason. Well.. Craig stood out, he stood out on the Masterclass, and on so many levels.

Once the Masterclass was completed, Craig then immediately aligned himself onto The Stevie Kidd Pathway. When Craig began his coaching journey with Stevie Kidd he was focusing on business strategy and neuroscience development and the journey so far has been extraordinary. It is during this time in working in partnership with Craig that Stevie believes that within his lifetime and business experience, Craig is certainly a genius within his field, and that is why Stevie has chosen to have Craig Rattray a part of the genius board in supporting our clients.

Craig Alexander Rattray has been advising entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial companies for almost thirty years.

A Chartered Accountant by training, Craig Alexander received offers from all of the big six global firms and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994 with significant corporate finance experience.

Six years in private equity and venture capital followed with significant gains made in multiple investments.

The next ten years included spells in industry working for a New York Stock Exchange listed company, partnership with a former colleague in SME corporate development, and a role as full-time consultant (Group CFO/Corporate Finance Director) to a British Virgin Island’s based group of companies focusing on investment in commercial and industrial property, leading investment transactions of over €1 billion over six months.

Know your numbers

Other roles included Finance Director of a struggling transport and logistics group, and director of a successful business management and corporate finance boutique.

In 2009 Craig Alexander established his own consultancy/investment company. He works with business owners to create and implement growth and exit strategies and ensures they have high quality financial information to make decisions, a well thought through strategy and the necessary finance to deliver the strategy.

He is a proud husband, father, and grandfather, and likes to keep fit in his home gym and the local David Lloyd club.

He has significant expertise in guiding business owners with the vision and drive to grow their company, and helps develop and implement effective growth and exit strategies.

Very few people have his experience in accounting, corporate finance, investment management, industrial financial management and running their own business.

Craig Alexander thrives on supporting companies experiencing change and challenge, including early development, growth, new market entry, acquisitions and scale-ups as well as positioning for exit.

Craig Alexander is the author of “Mastering Cash Flow for Business Owners” which was ranked number 1 in Amazon’s “Hot New Releases”.

He is a recognised cash expert and regularly speaks to finance providers and their clients on how to “master cash flow”.

Craig Alexander has been introduced by banks and investors to their clients for the last 30 years.
